The 45-minute docu-training film, produced in 2020, aims to help educators mitigate the effects of grief, trauma, and emotional stressors facing students amidst the uncertainty of COVID-19. The curriculum included in the film and the accompanying toolkit are research-based and help teachers understand the complex emotions students are facing, and how to redirect those feelings into growth by providing a safe environment for learning.

Pamela Cantor, M.D. is featured as a consulting expert in the film along with Alan Arkatov, Linda Darling-Hammond, Ed.D., Mary Helen Immordino-Yang, Ed.D, Marcellina Melvin, MA, LPC, and Dr. Pedro A. Noguera.

The Film and toolkit are available for free to all teachers and school districts nationwide. Watch the film.
