Pamela Cantor, M.D., gave a presentation as part of the Winter Webinar Series hosted by the Center for Transformative Teaching & Learning (CTTL) to explore how psychological safety and trust are essential precursors to fostering a sense of belonging in learning environments. This webinar was part of CTTL’s 2025 Winter Webinar Series, Belonging and the Brain: Creating the Conditions for Student Achievement, which featured expert educators and researchers discussing the intersection of Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) science with belonging in schools.
In her session, Dr. Cantor shared insights from developmental and learning science on how relationships shape brain development and how educators can create the conditions for belonging, motivation, and student success.
