Pamela Cantor, M.D.
Founder and CEO
A child and adolescent psychiatrist specializing in trauma, author and thought leader on the science of learning and development and unlocking human potential. In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, she founded Turnaround for Children, now the Center for Whole-Child Education at Arizona State University. Dr. Cantor crystallizes key scientific concepts about human potential and learning. She is a Senior Scholar at the Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development (IARYD) at Tufts University. Amber Zuberi
Chief of Staff
Amber Zuberi is a mission-driven leader focused on education, innovation, and social impact. She was the Co-Founder and CEO of Teach For Pakistan, where she launched a national teaching and leadership development program. Since then, she has held leadership roles in philanthropy and education technology, including serving as a Director at Arabella Advisors. Amber currently serves on the Board of Directors of D.C. Bilingual Public Charter School and brings a deep commitment to equity, systems change, and the science of learning and development. She has a graduate degree in Public Policy from Princeton University and was an Education Pioneers Impact Fellow.
Kate Felsen
Chief Communications Officer
Kate is an Emmy, Peabody, and duPont award-winning journalist who served as Senior Producer for ABC News: World News Tonight with Peter Jennings and for anchors Bob Woodruff, Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer. She built the communications team at Turnaround for Children, co-founded Feed the Frontlines NYC, chairs the Board of Directors of USA Climbing, and coaches youth lacrosse.
Jessica Smith
Director of Operations
Jessica brings more than 20 years of experience in the education sector, including conceptualizing, planning, executing, and evaluating programs and services, as well as 8 years in improvement science in the social sector, guiding organizations through continuous improvement processes with an intentional focus on racial equity.
Jeremy Koren
Director, Brand and Digital Strategy
For 10 years, Jeremy drove marketing, communications, and creative strategies at ASU's Center for Whole-Child Education and Turnaround for Children. He has held leadership roles at The Yellin Center for Mind, Brain, and Education and the All Kinds of Minds Institute at UNC Chapel Hill.
